Need to get an eye exam? Optometrists are available to preform a full routine eye exams. Not only will they determine your prescription needed for eyeglasses and contact lenses, but they will take a look at the overall health of your eye. At the end of the day our Eye Doctors are there to help you see and detect any eye conditions before you do.
People aged 19 and younger are entitled once a year by OHIP for an eye exam. Difficultiy paying attention, headaches and avoiding school work can be signs that your child is struggling with their vision.
Those receiving social services are entitled to a major eye exam every 2 years. To determine your eligibility please call a location to speak to a staff member.
We accept most major insurance companies. Each individual plan varies so please ask us in advanced or contact your provider.
-OHIP card
-ODSP or Ontario Works Statement of Assistance, if applicable
-List of medications
-Any current pairs of eyeglasses
-Pair of Sunglasses
-Contact lenses and type of solution used (Contact lenses must be off in order to receive an eye exam)
- A list of questions you may have about your eye health
People 65+ are entitled once a year by OHIP for an eye exam. This allows the Optometrists to monitor closely if any changes happen.
Those with diabetes that is controlled my medication are entitled once a year by OHIP for an eye exam. Yearly eye exams are crucial to early diagnosis and treatment of disease related eye conditions.
